My work as a designer is often shaped by the space—how a piece of furniture interacts with walls, floors, ceilings, and the rest of the furnishings. A piece should be able to stand on its own, yet also harmonize with its surroundings. Over the years as an interior architect, I have gained extensive knowledge in this area and have made it my mission to make public spaces feel more human. I have a strong affinity for production, am deeply interested in product development, and believe that design must evolve through close collaboration with industry.
För NC har Pierre ritat serien Cirrus som består av fåtölj samt 2 & 3 sits soffa. Cirrus är en möbel som ger ett hemlikt utseende med sina fluffiga kuddar och inbjudande formspråk. Tanken är att möbeln ska ge känslan av TV soffan i hemmiljö men uppfylla alla de krav som ställs i offentligmiljö så som smulspringor och avtagbar klädsel samt en högre sitthöjd.
