To NC Björn has designed the chairs CURT, BJÖRN and YES, the stool SPUTNIK and the furniture series STURE
Björn started his own company in 1982 and then concentrated on graphic design for companies such as Ericsson, Scania and Atlas Copco. Today, the majority of assignments are about industrial design and furniture design. Furthermore, Björn has produced graphic design and animated films for several of the above-mentioned clients.
During the 90s, Björn created several attention-grabbing furniture projects with the Stockholm company cbi as the main customer. Among many international awards, he has received the Excellent Swedish Form award several times. He has participated as a jury member in several international competitions, among other things he has been part of the jury for the German Rote Punkt.
1999-2001 Björn was a professor at Konstfack University College of Arts Crafts and Design in Stockholm. He has also taught at, for example, Beckmans School of Design. Björn Dahlström lives and works in Stockholm and is a member of the association SID (Svenska Industrial Designers).
