SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTS

For us, sustainable environments mean a sustainable everyday life. We design furniture designed for the needs of its users, making it easier to use while supporting comfort and well-being. Equally important is that our furniture promotes a sense of independence. Well-designed furniture with good ergonomic support should work with the body—not place unnecessary strain on it or cause discomfort or injury.

Our furniture is adaptable, offering different configurations that can shift in function or identity depending on the environment in which it is placed. We also embrace human diversity and understand that people have different abilities and needs. Therefore, we design furniture with integrated functions that make everyday life easier.

Through carefully considered material choices, adapted both to the intended user and to the environment in which the furniture will be used, we create products that stand the test of time and continue to serve their purpose for many years. For us, sustainable environments are also about spreading joy and encouraging encounters between people. But sustainability goes beyond the products themselves—it must also extend to our colleagues and to the people who manufacture our furniture.

In order to pursue serious sustainability work with a focus on continuous development, we need motivated and committed employees with strong expertise who enjoy their work. Sustainability is not something we can pursue individually—it requires long-term, shared commitment where everyone contributes. For us, this also means ensuring fair working conditions throughout the value chain, including among our suppliers.
