He works with contextual and inclusive design, with projects ranging from conceptual ideas to functional solutions in both public and specialised environments, with a focus on healthcare and care settings. With a pragmatic foundation, he combines function and expression, focusing on sustainable quality and timeless design that avoids short-lived trends.
Peter has collaborated with companies such as Lammhults, Källemo, Form & Miljö, and NakNak. Over the years, he has received several awards and distinctions for his work, including the Bruno Mathsson Prize, the Forsnäs Prize, Ung Svensk Form, the Sköna Hem Anniversary Scholarship, Utmärkt Svensk Form, a working grant from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, and Sköna Hem Furniture of the Year.
He has previously served as head teacher at Beckmans College of Design and as a lecturer in furniture design at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design.
For NC, Peter has designed the KOMPIS stool, the CHARLIE, GEPETTO, KNUT, and TILT chairs, the RIALTO table and chair series, the JACKIE chair and sofa series, the JOHN functional armchair, and the VISIT accessory. Together with Matti Klenell, he has also designed the CHIKAN table series.
